He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. John F. Hines (MD) and Nancy Olivia Hines (Rodgers); and his sister Nalice East (Hines). He is survived by: his sister Mary Olivia Storey (Hines); his wife Rebecca McAlister of Wellington, Kansas.; his sons, John William and Nathan; his sister Nancy Jane (Hines); and his grandchildren, Nicole, Olivia, Sophia and Cormac. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews and 4 great grandchildren.
The family has requested that memorial gifts be made in his name to The Arthritis Foundation at: https://www.arthritis.org or a charity of their choice.
