With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kenneth Ray Hawkins of Denton, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kenneth left this world on October 4, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardy Hawkins and Cora Hawkins; his siblings, Harold Hawkins and Geraldine Keller; and his daughter Linda Diane Hawkins.
He is survived by: his wife Nelda Jean Edmonds; his children, Bob Hawkins (Sandra) and Rebecca Nye (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Joshua Hawkins, Isabella Hawkins, Brandon Nye and Zachary Nye. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeBerry Funeral Directors (2025 W University Dr, Denton, TX 76201). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Southmont Baptist Church (2801 Pennsylvania Dr, Denton, TX 76205). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at the Roselawn Memorial Park (3801 Roselawn Dr, Denton, TX 76205).
