He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Ward (Singleton) and E. J. Ward. He is survived by: his wife Ruthanna; his sons, Eric John (Sandy) and Cory Austin (Sarah); his grandchildren, Megan Elizabeth Frost (Trevor), Ethan Joshua Ward (Alexia), Zachary Tyler Ward and Kubrick Austin Ward; and his siblings, Rick Ward (Linda Nell) and Linda Jean Stogner (Arlie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
