He was loved and cherished by many people including : his fathers, Edward Kremers and Maurice Hager; his brother Paul Kremers; his sister-in-law Darlene Wilson; his wife Judy Michels; his daughters, Kelly Mahannah (Kevin) and Carol Reese (Jim); his grandchildren, Zachary Kremers (Teresa), Jack Mahannah (Jennifer) and Kacey Mahannah; his siblings, Cynthia Schaff (Dominic) and Edward Kremers (Teresa Ann); and his siblings-in-law, Mardelle Helm (Calvin), Darrell Michels (Clarice) and Mary Lou Kremers. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family's charity of choice is Metroport Meals on Wheels in Roanoke, Texas.
