She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Wray and Lorna Wray; and her husband Steve Nelson. She is survived by: her siblings, Michele Wray Bradke (Craig) and Patti Wray Marnin Michael (Jeff); her daughters, Jennifer Manternach (Adam), Andrea Nelson (Danny), Kathryn Nelson (Alix) and Greta Kissel (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Avery, Berlin, Jacob, Chase, Arya and Anya. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McLaren's Resthaven Chapel (801 19th St, West Des Moines, IA 50265). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
