He is survived by: his wife Kim McMullen Tolbert; his daughter Kelli Lane Tolbert; and his brother Donald Tolbert. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Due to his prior wishes and COVID, there will be no formal funeral nor visitation. The burial will be private.
