She is survived by: her husband Stewart K. Smith; her son Joel Phillips (Rishia); and her grandchildren, Ian and Ivy.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Denton Presbyterian Church (1114 W University Dr, Denton, TX 76201). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
