The family announces the passing of Sydney Amber Regis of Denton, Texas on September 18, 2026. Sydney, born on October 10, 1980, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, J. D., Vinita Vann, Gene and Sherley Risedorph; and her uncle Scott Risedorph.
She is survived by: her parents, Shirlene Vann and Weldon Vann (Rebecca); her husband Matt; her son Bowen; her parents-in-law, David and Diana Regis; her brothers, Lee Vann (Rosely) and Corbitt Vann; her sister-in-law Trisha Seidel (Jeffrey); and her nieces and nephews, Caylie, Zachary and Ashley.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Quakertown Civic Center (321 E McKinney St, Denton, TX 76201).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Sydney's memory to Newton Rayzor PTA, Calhoun Middle School PTA, or Denton High School Band Boosters, honoring her commitment to education, children, and her community.
