He is survived by: his children, Scott Cox of Denton, TX. and Kelly Steele (Andy) of Decatur, TX.; and his siblings, Charles Cox (Glenda) of Collinsville, TX., Ricky Cox of Nocona, TX., Joann Hunter of Gainesville, TX. and June Romero (Joe) of Gordonville, TX.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Slay Memorial Funeral Center (400 US-377, Aubrey, TX 76227).
