It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Woody Jackson in Denton, Texas, born in Olton, Texas, who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his former life partner Patsy Carol Boone. He is survived by : his wife Jean; his children, Julie Damewood, Andy Jackson, Susan (Robert Lyle) and Jeff (Leisa Jackson); and his siblings, JoDon Jackson and Sybol Henry.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Denton (1100 Malone St, Denton, TX 76201). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM and on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 9:30 AM.
