He was predeceased by: his father Roy McGee, Sr. (Roy). He is survived by: his mother Barbara McGee, (Crider) of Denver City, Texas; his children, Aaron McGee of Denver City, Texas and Faith Mullens (Michael) of Hayli, Virginia; and his siblings, Amos McGee (Amy) of Waller, Texas and Tracy Stephens (Ryan) of Seguin, Texas. He is also survived by three grandchildren, four nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
