It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Xavier Gunter of Desoto, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on August 13, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Juanita A. Woods and Charles Comfort; and his brothers, Julius Gunter and Timothy Gunter. He is survived by: his sisters, Marilyn Smith and Cherie Woods; and his nieces and nephews, Chandrel Gunter, Demarcus Woods, Timothy Gunter, Jasmine Smith, Quiona Dotson (Michael), Tiana Smith and Tommilyn Tarpley. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
