We announce the death of Daryl Glen Freeman of Devers, Texas, born in Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 74. Daryl will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Daryl will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Daryl will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Daryl’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Theodore Freeman and Betty Watson; and his brothers, Max Freeman, Alan Freeman, Preston Freeman and Eric Freeman.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kevin Freeman, Barbara Carter (David) and Joy Rayon (William); and his caregiver Stacie Miller (Todd). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends he loved as his family.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (106 Ave A, Devers, TX 77538).
