He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd P. Whittington, Sr. and Maggie Brown Whittington; his brother L. P. Whittington, Jr.; his sister-in-law Wanda Whittington; and his son-in-law Robert Allen Kirkland.
He is survived by: his wife Iris Whittington; his children, Vivienne Kirkland and Lloyd A. Whittington (Jan); his grandchildren, Robb Kirkland, Jana Post (Corbett), Richmond Whittington (Kari), Christapher Whittington (Jenna) and Katelyn Koen (Jean-Paul); and his great grandchildren, Maggie Post, Laci Kirkland, Seth Kirkland, Leyton Kirkland, Chap Post, Whit Post, McKenzie Whittington, Ethan Whittington, Olivia Whittington, Adelyn Whittington, Quinn Whittington, Bennett Whittington, Collins Whittington, Jacob Koen, Hudson Koen and Eli Koen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Line Camp Cowboy Church (711 US-90, Devers, TX 77538). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Whittington Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Line Camp Cowboy Church in Devers, Texas.
