He is survived by: his wife Ofelia Silva Bustos of Devine, Texas; his daughters, Peggy Hernandez (Abraham) of Von Ormy and Ruby Bustos of Devine, Texas.; his siblings, Gloria Garcia (San Diego), Elida Martinez (San Antonio) and Ramiro Bustos (Indiana); his grandchildren, Amanda (Ruben), Abraham Joshua (Carla), Abigail (Edward), Avonlea (Eduardo) and Haley; and his great grandchildren, Cadence, Brandon, Landon, Brayden, Matiana, Aubriana, Ruben III, Nathaniel, Paisley, Chloe and Luca. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Primera Iglesia Bautista Betania (404 E Hondo Ave, Devine, TX 78016). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
