She was predeceased by: her father Jesus "Chuy" Mata; her parents-in-law, Darrell and Evelyn DuBose; and her brother-in-law Darrell "Tinker" DuBose. She is survived by: her mother Maria Mata; her husband David Wayne DuBose; her children, Jennifer Reyes (Martin), Monica J. Villarreal, Ashley Coyle (Derek), Samantha Barber (Coy) and David DuBose II; her grandchildren, Emma Coyle, Hannah Coyle, Kade Barber and Gustaf DuBose; her siblings, Mario Mata (Darlyn), Mary Elsa Fricot (Marquette), Elizabeth (Dennis Mahoney), Mark Mata (Teri) and Dina Oberman (Richard); and her siblings-in-law, Debbie DuBose, Don DuBose, Janice DuBose and Pam Shoemake (Ron). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Primrose Funeral Services - Devine (303 W College Ave, Devine, TX 78016). A rosary will be held on Monday, June 1st 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (108 S Washington Dr, Devine, TX 78016). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 2nd 2026 at 11:15 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery (108 S Washington Dr, Devine, TX 78016).
