He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Lionel "Jack" Zinsmeyer and Jeanice Elsie Poerner Zinsmeyer; his siblings, Bette Zane Fasano and Charlie Zinsmeyer; his sisters-in-law, Jan Nash and Patsy Wurzbach; and his parents-in-law, Emmett and Tena Wurzbach.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Zinsmeyer of D'Hanis; his sons, Michael (Rikki Zinsmeyer), Darren (Charli Zinsmeyer) and Jarrett (Fabiola Zinsmeyer); his grandchildren, Mikayla, John, Bryson, Mikki, Case, Mika, Keagan and Wyatt; his siblings, Tony Zinsmeyer of D'Hanis and Laurie; his brother-in-law David Santos of Yancey; and his in-laws, John Fasano of Weslaco, Missy Zinsmeyer of Bulverde, Fanny Lea Nash of Rockport, Ray Wurzbach of Castroville, F. J. and Linda Wurzbach of Rio Medina. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made in Johnny's memory to Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, D'Hanis Lions Club or to the charity of your choice.
