He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Hubert and Faye Ormes; wife: Naomia "Sissy" Davis; children: Shawn Ormes (Amy Ormes) and Shanna Hatcher (Ray Hatcher); brother: Neil Ormes; grandchildren: Harrison Ormes, Caleb Ormes, Haden Satterwhite (Sandra), and Kennedy Hatcher; great grandchildren: Rayden and Emma Satterwhite; friend: Johnny Mahurin; neighbor and adopted son: Dewayne Mabry; nurse: Kim Shofner; staff: Payton Knox; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Smyrna Cemetery.
