He was predeceased by: his parents, Knox Bowman and Dorothy "Luddy" Bowman (Vaughn); his siblings, David Bowman and Benita Bowman; his brothers-in-law, Larry Cook and Larry Hart; his mothers-in-law, Maxine Jones and Bernice Weisinger; and his daughter Jennifer Lea Bowman.
He is survived by: his wife Lynda Bowman (Weisinger); his daughter Hannah Marie Pierce (Jason Pierce); his siblings, John Bowman (Teresa Bowman), Becky Byrd (Hugh Byrd) and Seleta Hart; his siblings-in-law, Marvana Cook, Lanny Carnley (Liz) and Butch Carnley (Carol); his grandchildren, Hagen, Westen and Jase Pierce; and his great grandchildren, Haisley and Palmer Pierce.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carroway Funeral Home (2704 S John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
