He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Reed, (Morris) and Charles Ray Reed, Sr.; his brother Terry Reed; his stepparents, Carrel Reed and Alvin Marshall; his daughter Charity Reed; and his son-in-law Gary Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Chantea Allen, Felicity Sumner (Chris), Monte Reed (Marie), Chelsie Vallejo (Nick), Coty Reed (Faye) and Colby Reed; and his grandchildren, Tyler Allen, Dylan Allen, Paige Sumner, Megan Sumner, Riley Allen, Lily Vallejo, Grayson Reed, Charley Vallejo, Hendrix Vallejo, Roan Vallejo, Demi Vallejo and Everly Vallejo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Oak Funeral Home (1080 I-45 Frontage Rd, Huntsville, TX 77340). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Prairie Grove Cemetery (155 Pr Grv Rd, Diboll, TX 75941).
