With solemn reverence, we commemorate Bobbie Hix of Dickens, Texas, whose life came to an end on September 23, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Bobbie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Bobbie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Atkinson and Minnie Atkinson (Lee Hix); and her daughter Sue Raby. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy (Phil Ross) of Bixby, OK and Patsy (Winfrey Kinzie) of Perkins, OK. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Zapata Funeral Home (602 Burlington Ave, Spur, TX 79370). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Dickens Cemetery Cemetery.
