He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Kent Timmons of Miami and Harriette Edna Lewis Timmons of Mart, Texas.; his children, Curtis Timmons, Lorilyn Timmons and Tyson Timmons; and his sister Joyce Jones (Vance).
He is survived by: his wife Marinelle Timmons; and his sons, Rob Timmons (Michele), Kevin Timmons, Shane Timmons (Paula) and Marc Timmons (Amy). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
