He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Brown and Marilyn Elizabeth Brown (Mullins); his in-laws, Robert and Lila Goins; and his brother-in-law James Mosely.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Brown of Silsbee Texas; his children, Jeanette Marie Tyler (Scott), Sherrie Dawn Salas (Juan F.) and Robert James Brown (Jesse); his siblings, Peggy Halstead, Debra Hendley (Wayne) and Larry Brown (Diane); and his grandchildren, Robert E. Brown, Isabella Salas, Elena Salas, David Trahan, Brian Trahan, Justin Tyler and Toby Tyler.
