He is survived by: his father Nayo Gomez; his wife Adelinda Quesada Gomez; his sons, David Gomez Jr. and Jerry Gomez Sr. (Neva); his grandchildren, Jerry Gomez Jr., Michael Gomez and Jacqueline Gomez; and his siblings, Richard Gomez, Leonardo Gomez, Mary Ann Gomez Avila, Daniel Gomez and Joe Gomez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
