She is survived by: her children, Maria Melda Guzman (San Juan), Jose Angel Barrera (Laura), Carlos Barrera Jr. (Irene), Armando Barrera (Selma), Gilberto Barrera (Sandra), Pablo Barrera (Lenora) and Rene Barrera (Alicia); and her brother Mingo Quezada. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
