She was predeceased by : her husband Dean Todd; her parents, Harvie Newsom and Wilma Newsom; her siblings, A. J. Newsom and Kirksye Cope; her son-in-law Jeff Jones; and her niece Marilyn Raymond.

She is survived by : her children, Dean, Neta, DeAnn Jones of Tulia and Terry Todd (Cindy) of Austin; her grandchildren, Mike Todd (Cindy) of Canyon, Sheri Bertelson, Heather Edwards, Michael Todd, Brittany Romero, Tanna Terry, Douglas Todd and Michael Collins; her great grandchildren, Caleb Butler, Cambree Edwards, Beni Romero, Klara Terry, Kendal Terry, Samuel Todd and Charlie Todd; and her sister Laraine Melton of Tulia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
