With sadness, we share the passing of Ignacia Sanchez of Donna, Texas. Ignacia, born on July 31, 1943, passed away on October 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Luis Sanchez; her sons, Javier (Blanca), Luis Jr. and Juan (Oralia); her grandchildren, Yvette (Robert), Jesse, Emily, Alyssa (Jonathan), Javier Jr., Sarah (Robert) and Victoria; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Nathan and Aiden. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 8:00 AM to 9:40 AM at the Hawkins Funeral Home - Donna (501 N D Salinas Blvd, Donna, TX 78537). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (306 S Salinas Blvd, Donna, TX 78537). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Val Verde Memorial Gardens (6200 Val Verde Rd, Donna, TX 78537).
