She was predeceased by: her parents, Porfirio Rocha and Catalina Jimenez of Matehuala; her former spouse Monico A. Bocanegra; her son Jose Antonio Bocanegra; her friend Anastacio "Tacho" Sandoval; her husband Anatascio Sandoval; her daughter-in-law Maria of Lourdes Bocanegra; her great grandchild Monserrat Cruz; and her brothers, Candido Bocanegra and Epifanio Bocanegra.
She is survived by: her children, Juanita B. Hernandez, Catalina Bocanegra (Peter Anthony) and Monico Bocanegra Jr. For; her siblings, Tereso Rocha and Silverio Rocha; and her grandchildren, Veronica Monique Hernandez, Virginia Velasquez, Robert Michael Hernandez, Marie Velasquez-Saenz (Arthur), Adam Velasquez, Erica Maxine Silva (Michael), Jessica Anthony and Yesenia Bocanegra (Christian Cruz). She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
