He was predeceased by : his parents, Anacleto Lopez and Francisca Lopez; and his brother Jose Lopez. He is survived by : his wife Elvira Lopez; his children, Juan Antonio Lopez, Jose Angel Lopez, Mario Lopez, Humberto Lopez, Irma Lopez, Guillermina Lopez, Romualdo Lopez, Placido Lopez Jr., Guadalupe Lopez, Israel Lopez and Manuel Lopez; and his siblings, Cleto Lopez, Petra Lopez, Juan Lopez, Victoria Lopez, Lupita Lopez and Carlos Lopez.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vaughan Funeral Home (1701 E Business 83, Donna, TX 78537). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 9:00 AM at 306 S Salinas Blvd, Donna, TX 78537. A burial was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Val Verde Memorial Gardens (6200 N Val Verde Rd, Donna, TX 78537).
