Martha Lee Jackson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Martha Lee Jackson (Douglass, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Martha leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Osie Walker and Ruth Lillian Moore (Summerlin); her husband Dalton Jackson; and her brother Osie Ray Moore. She is survived by: her siblings, George Moore and Jerrie Sue Holland (Curtis) of Douglass. She is also survived by seven nieces, three nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Douglass, the Douglass Community Food Pantry, or Heart 2 Heart Hospice of Nacogdoches.
