He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian Matthews; his parents, Geneva Matthews and Blackie Matthews; and his daughter Elaine Keith. He is survived by: his daughter Pat Esquell; and his sisters, Patricia Favor and Jenny Olson. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harrell Funeral Home (112 N Camden St, Dublin, TX 76446). A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cottonwood Cemetery (273 Co Rd 527, Dublin, TX 76446).
