He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Serna and Manuela Serna (Mendieta); his son Ricky Serna; and his brother Sylvester Serna. He is survived by: his wife Tomasa Perez; his daughters, Sylvia Busch (Mark), Sarah Serna, Sally Lucero (Alex), Martha Casanova and Marlo Serna; his siblings, Juan Serna, Paula Lopez, Eva Guerrero and Tere Limas; and his sister-in-law Gloria Serna. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
