He is survived by: his siblings, Billy Ray and Lilly May; his half-brother Larry Anglin; his children, Kevin Wayne and Dian Valois; his stepchildren, Anthony Scott, Cheryl Annette, Sharon Yvonne and Mary Beth; his son Kevin Potter (Lisa); his granddaughter Diane Hoefling (Milt); and his stepchildren, Scott Cowan (Paula), Cheryl Spriggs (Leo), Sharon Howard (Randy) and Mary Cowan. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
