He is survived by: his children, Belinda Wilson of Allen, TX, James Getman of Clayton, NM, Melody Trick (Joe) of Arlington, TX, Rex Getman of Dumas, TX and April Dillow (Chuck) of Giddings, TX.; his brother Clarence Getman (Dorothie) of Dumas, TX; his grandchildren, James Arvid Wilson, Ashley Brooke Barr, James Harlan Paul Getman (Tamara Lynn Getman), Michelle Lynn Getman, Dedra Hampton, Kerry Hampton, Joseph Hampton and Corbin Gray Dillow; his great grandchildren, Grayson Barr, Brodie Rebel Cooper, Alyssa Marie Getman, Kody James Edward Getman, Emmaleen Vandergriff, Jarrod Ray Lee Getman, Zain James Robins, Corrine Symphony Lynn Getman, Garrett Johnson, Jace Johnson, Steven Hampton, Harlen Hampton and Jordan Tagg; and his great great grandchildren, Chamberlain Scogins, Korean Lewis and Kamryn Ballow.
