She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Ernest Thomas and Anna Ulrey; her grandmother Phyllis; her siblings, Amy Lou, Lorri, Alfred Ernest Thomas Jr. and Warren Franklin Thomas (Corky); her half-sister Marie Minnick (Bill Ames); and her grandson Michael Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Lee (Martha Ames), Peter Mark (Barb Ames), Robert Jay (Cindy Ames), Nikki Lynn (Mike McDonald), Lucy (Loyd Johnson) and Helamina Kay (Jon Jones). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Morrison Memorial Chapel (1015 S Dumas Ave, Dumas, TX 79029).
