It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Saundra Sue Wait of Dumas, Texas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Beryl and Betty Hatfield; her husband Chuck Wait; and her daughter-in-law Mary Wait. She is survived by : her sons, Charles Wait, Jr. (Cammie) of Georgetown, Texas, Darrell Wait (Holly) of Dumas, Texas and Dudley Wait (The Favorite); her grandchildren, Miranda Frank, Crysann Edwards, Jason Wait, Rebecca Dow, Zayden Wait, Zachary Wait, Josiah Wait, Nevaeh Wait and CJ Wait; her great grandchildren, Maisey and Abigail Edwards; her grandchildren, Georgia, Clara Wait, Carter and Emersyn Dow; and her siblings, Nancy Orr, Ruth Rogers, Jeanie Stephens, Karen Miller, Jane Jarrett, Charlie Hatfield and Don Hatfield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beeson-Morrison Funeral Directors (1015 S Dumas Ave, Dumas, TX 79029). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Dumas Memorial Cemetery. A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Christian Church (423 S Maddox Ave, Dumas, TX 79029).

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to your favorite charity or to First Christian Church in Dumas.
