With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tonie Gayle Taylor of Dumas, Texas, born in Plainview, Texas, who passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Tonie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Tonie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Karen Sue Couch and Darla Denise Folks. She is survived by: her daughter Chasidy (Mike Shockey) of Dumas; her parents, Loyd Couch and Loretta Couch of Kilgore; her brother Slim (Cheryl Couch) of Goodwell; and her grandchildren, Mason and Jill. She is also survived by Many aunts, uncles, great nieces & nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Danville Cemetery (200 Memorial St, Kilgore, TX 75662).
