She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred DuBard and Hettye Sanborn DuBard. She is survived by: her brother Fred DuBard II; her husband James Robert Howard; her daughters, Julia "Jill" Howard Curbo (Paul) and Nancy Leigh Howard (Steve Scarlett); her granddaughters, Elizabeth and Alexandra Curbo; and her sister Nancy DuBard Nunn. She is also survived by friends, nieces, and nephews.
