He was predeceased by: his mother Brenda Joyce Young Purcell; his nephew Brendan Lee Purcell; and his great-nephew Braxton Wyatt Chaput. He is survived by: his father Orbin Jay Purcell Sr.; his stepmother Gay of Brownwood, TX; his siblings, Jody Purcell (Karen) of Tyler, TX and Anita Purcell of Brownwood, TX.; his stepsisters, Donna Miller (Mike) of Brownwood, TX and Lisa Hoffman (Mike) of Goldthwaite, TX; his niece Sophia Solis (Gregory); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Remi Kate and Abigail Beau of Brownwood, TX; his nephew Brett Chaput (Kylei Hayden); and also Jaysten Layne of Brownwood, TX.. He is also survived by numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his dog.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Windham Cemetery (Co Rd 116, Texas 76801).
