She was predeceased by: her husband Eugenio Cantu; and her brothers, Manuel, Luis and Armando Matamoros. She is survived by: her children, Elsa Laing (Richard), George Cantu (Cathy), Norma Glavich (Guy), Joe Cantu (Maria), Aracelia Kent, Sylvia Kohanski and Luis Cantu (Liz); and her grandchildren, Gabriel Cantu, Brandi Massey, Brian Laing, Mackenzie Kent, Kimberley Riley, Kevin Cantu, Courtney Dalton and Bryce Kohanski. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
