He is survived by: his wife Verle Rice; his sister Loretta Angel (Tom); his children, Velre Boyd (Ky), Eddy Rice Jr. (Veronica Hawkins), Kim Nolen, Jennifer Hale (Sam) and Robyn Beard (Ricky); his grandchildren, Kyra Mills (Rob), Kreg Boyd (Angela), Kwade Boyd (Abbey Matties), James Nolen, Jason Hale, Austin Beard, Jackson Beard and Luke Beard; and his great grandchildren, Macie Paige, Kyden Pinkston and Maks Mills. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
