He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Laura Wright (Charles) of Midlothian, Melinda "Lindy" Brewer (Randy) of May, Stephanie Griffin (Travis) of May, Steven "Stevie" McDaniel (Mara) of O'Donnell and Melissa "Missy" Vaughn (Greg) of Brownwood; his grandchildren, Brady Wright (Becky), Valerie Hughes (Nick), Benton Wright (Tammy), Cody Griffin (Erika), Nathan Hoy (Christy), Amanda Brereton (Daniel), Bailey Vuicich (Nick), Nick Hoy (Lauren), Hunter Petsch (Kelsey), Meredith Petsch (Gus), Zack Vaughn, Austin Griffin (Vashti), Alexandra McDaniel, Avery Vasquez (Crimson) and Tyler Vaughn (Lainee); his brother Dwayne "Butch" McDaniel of Rockport; and his brother-in-law Henry Gordon Purl Jr. of Kerrville.
