She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rainey and Kathleen Rainey; her husband Jerry Hudson; her children, Brooke Lee Hudson and Lisa Leigh Hudson; her siblings, Jack Rainey, Jim Rainey, Pat McClanahan and Frances Deen; her nephew Sheldon Schell; Arthur and Tylene Hudson.
She is survived by: her grandson Joshua Maldonado; her great grandchildren, Kingston and Ivory; and her sister Marilyn Rainey Cullins (Stephen). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Throughout the years, she was the family's voice of reason and confidant until those roles were eventually reversed following her diagnosis of dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
