She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Childs and Mildred Childs; her husband Norman Emerson; and her stepson Bruce Emerson. She is survived by: her sister Arnell (David McMillin) of Louisiana; and her stepchildren, Billy Emerson of Redding, California and Barbara (Dan Morita) of Seattle, Washington. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
