Melody June Thames Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Audie Cathey and Betty Cathey; her aunts and uncles, Joe, Peggy Cathey, Rodney Sanders, Sam, Melba Cathey, Jerry and June Greenwood; and her brother-in-law Pete Ratliff.

She is survived by: her husband Randy Thames (Arizona); her daughters, Victoria Thames of Early, Jamie Downey (Richard) of Blue Ridge and Shawna Washington (Myron) of Brownwood; her grandchildren, Caryssa Downey of Dallas, Monica Downey of Las Vegas, Jaiden Downey of Blue Ridge, Nicolas Thames of San Angelo, Abygail and Malachi Washington of Brownwood; and her sisters, Sandra Ratliff of Early and Robin Black (Doug) of Brownwood. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to any Alzheimer's or dementia organization in her honor.
