He was predeceased by : his parents, Lena Faye Sims (Smith) and Lewis Lee Sims. He is survived by : his wife Tina Sims (Gober); his children, Malinda Sims, Chrystal Sims, Jennifer Sims, Jessica Knight and Randy Sims; and his siblings, Marty Sims, Timothy Sims and Angie Salinas. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren.
