He is survived by: his wife Betty Russell; his children, Randy Russell (Maria), Scott Russell (Donna), Daniel Russell of Hawaii and Sharla Goodgion (Gary); his stepdaughter Cathy Hardin (Ric); his grandchildren, Julie Hicks and Dave of Carlsbad; his great grandchildren, Jude, Eli and Summer; his grandchildren, Joy Crawford and Brad of Liberty Hill; his great grandchildren, Piper, Leeland and Auggie; his grandchildren, Jackie Russell of Austin and Jeremiah Russell of Comanche; his great grandchildren, Kade and Kenley; his grandchildren, Brandi Welch and Ryan of Blanket; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Koen and Braylei; his grandchildren, Shane Goodgion, Callie of Abilene, Chance Goodgion and Amy of Brownwood; his great grandchild Henry; his grandchildren, Brady Hardin, Chris Merritt and Tonya of Brownwood; his great grandchildren, J. J., Uriah, Cooper Merritt, Brittany of Early and Caitlyn White of Hawaii; and his siblings, Martha Fauber of Deltona, Florida and Herb Russell of Early. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Memory Cemetery.
