She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hulse and Ellena Hulse; her husband Paul Phillips; her son Kevin Phillips; her brother Terry Hulse; and her nephew Shane Tuggle.
She is survived by: her daughter Kristi Walker (Wade Walker) of Early; her sisters, Mary Lois Tuggle (Danny) of Granbury and LaTrelle Locks (Mike) of Zephyr; her grandchildren, Brandon Walker (Sarah) of Early, Kandyce Brownlee (Chris) of Early, SherryAnn Phillips of Early and Colin Walker (Alexus) of Brownwood; and her great grandchildren, Maddyson Walker of Early, Ryko, Reece Walker of Early, Zander Miller of Hamlin, Brylie Slade of Brownwood and Harper Walker of Brownwood. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Early First Baptist Church (103 Garmon Dr, Early, TX 76802). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family asks that memorial donations be made to the Youth Group of Grace Baptist or Early First Baptist in memory of Sherry Phillips.
