He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sue; his daughter Alicia Michelle Stacks (Derrick); his grandchildren, Braeden James, Grant Wayne and Ashlyn Michelle; his siblings, Sandra Collom (Larry), Gary Creel (Debora) and Sherry Pipes (Freddy); his siblings-in-law, Susie Bratcher, Sally Garrett (Mike), Tommy Reynolds and Joe Brabham; and his nieces and nephews, Rev. Donald Wayne Hurst, Spencer Brabham, Parker Garrett, Preston Garrett, Tonya Rossmoine, Tabitha Schwarz (Clint), Charisse Maes (Steven), Chana Navarro (Joe), Hannah Vance (Brandon) and Abigail Torres (Cameron). He is also survived by many great-nephews and great-nieces and great-great nephews and great-great nieces.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at the Eastlawn Memorial Park (1921 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802).
