She was predeceased by: her parents, Fidel Serena and Monzerat Serena; her grandson Jose Antonio Ponce; and her siblings, Noe Armando Serna, Juan Serna, Ramona Gonzalez, Guadalupe Fuentes and Oralia Garza.
She is survived by: her husband Camarino Hernandez; and her children, Genaro Hernandez, Eddy Hernandez, Camerino Hernandez, Jr., Anna Ponce and Yesenia Hernandez. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
